Free 15-min camera-health review

Cameras that catch what matters. Not what doesn't.

You don't need 47 alerts a day for the wind. You need to know when someone's actually at the door. We tune your cameras, back up just the events that matter, and send you a weekly summary — so cameras stop being noise. From $29/month.

Footage stays at your property. Never centralized. Cloud event-clip archive. Belt and suspenders. No monthly camera tax. Pay for management, not gigabytes.
What you get

Surveillance that earns its keep.

Most camera systems are either expensive cloud subscriptions that own your footage, or DIY rigs that drown you in false positives. We picked a third option: pro hardware on your property + light cloud event-archive + actual humans tuning the rules.

False-positive tuning

We profile every camera against the things you actually want to see. Cars on the road get ignored. People in the driveway don't. We update the rules continuously based on what you flag.

Weekly review summary

Every Monday: a one-page email of what your cameras saw, the events that mattered, and any health issues we flagged. No scrubbing through hours of footage.

Local NVR + cloud event archive

Footage stays on your local NVR (UniFi Cloud Gateway Max, UDM Pro Max, or Synology). Only short motion-event clips back up to encrypted cloud (Cloudflare R2, 90-day retention). If a drive dies, the events that matter are still there.

🔒

Your footage never leaves your property

This isn't marketing — it's architecture. Cameras record to a local NVR you own. Only short motion-event clips (10–30 sec snippets, encrypted) replicate to a cloud archive for disaster recovery. Police subpoenas go to you, not us. Privacy breaches at our end can't expose your footage. You control your data, always.

How it works

Review, tune, run.

Free review

15 minutes screen-share or in-person. We look at what you have, count the false alerts, check the storage, and tell you whether to add or replace. No judgment if it's a Wyze.

Tune or upgrade

If your gear is good, we just tune it. If you need more, we'll quote add-ons or a fresh design. UniFi G6 cameras + Cloud Gateway Max for most homes; UDM Pro Max with RAID-1 redundancy for premium properties.

Quiet, ongoing care

Each month we tune, patch firmware, validate backups, and email you the summary. If something stops working overnight, we know before you do.

Pricing

Three tiers. Pay for management, not for storage.

Most cloud-camera plans charge per camera per month. We charge a flat fee for managing the system. Footage lives on hardware you own.

Recommended hardware (one-time purchase)

No ENVR-only setup. We recommend a Cloud Gateway or UDM Pro Max — one box that does router + firewall + NVR — for ecosystem cohesion and clean upgrade path.

Why no ENVR Core?

The UniFi Cloud Gateway Max is more elegant for residential — one box does the router, firewall, and Protect NVR with built-in storage. ENVR Core is positioned for tiny non-rack deployments where you already have a router, which adds complexity. We use Cloud Gateway Max as the default; UDM Pro Max with RAID-1 SSD redundancy for premium and multi-camera setups.

Questions

The honest answers.

Will footage be admissible if I need it for an investigation?

We design with chain-of-custody in mind: timestamped, hash-verified clips, exported with a signed manifest. We can't promise outcomes — that's up to your local prosecutor — but we won't be the reason it gets thrown out. Details in our service agreement.

Why not just use Ring or Nest?

Cloud-only systems mean: (1) you pay per-camera per-month forever, (2) the company owns your footage and can disable access on their schedule, (3) outages = no recording. We use UniFi Protect: footage is yours, lives on your hardware, and only an encrypted clip-archive replicates to cloud for disaster recovery. Same trust signal, half the recurring cost.

What about my privacy?

Footage stays on your NVR. We see what we need to manage the system — health, alerts, configs — and that's it. We never sell footage and we'll never train AI on it. Hard rule. Centralized customer footage at our office isn't even an option in our architecture.

Can you tie cameras into automations?

Yes — pair this with our Managed Home Assistant line and "front door has a person between 10pm and 6am" can flip on the porch light, ping you, and start a higher-resolution recording. UniFi Protect natively integrates with Home Assistant 2026.4+.

What's the install side look like?

Quoted separately. Typical home: $999–$2,999 depending on cabling, camera count, and whether we need to run wire. We prefer wired PoE; we'll do wireless when wired isn't possible.

Is there a contract?

No. Month-to-month. Cancel anytime — your gear and your footage are yours.
